I am a wife to Alan and mother to Hannah and Spencer. I used to work at Savannah River Site, but left after 13 years to stay home with our kids. It was a wise decision for us, especially after Spencer was diagnosed with mild autism in 2004 when he was 3 years old. I grew up in Bowling Green, Kentucky, but South Carolina has been my home since 1983. I moved here with my parents when my dad got a job in Aiken. I have two brothers, who also live in South Carolina with their families.
